Django Reinhardt with Freddy Taylor - After You’ve Gone
Lately, I’ve been really into the Django material with singer Freddy Taylor. Taylor is a really obscure name in music and he only ever made a handful of recordings (half of which I will be posting). I absolutely love his raspy, but smooth voice and his playful style. He often starts scatting in lieu of the actually words of the song or mumbles a line to make it sound more interesting (or shot, maybe he just forgot!) The next couple posts will be dedicated to this singer, so I hope you enjoy!

P.S. I posted a Django Reinhardt song with Freddy Taylor, back on February 27th. That song, “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love” is one of my favorite of these rare Taylor and Reinhardt’s recordings.
